Description
KRUUSE Sacryl Suture is a synthetic, absorbable, multifilament, sterile surgical suture composed of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide (Polyglactin 910) and is coated with polyglycolide-co-lactide (30/70) and calcium stearate. Complete mass absorption in 56-70 days (approximately 75% of original tensile strength 14 days after implantation, 40% of original tensile strength 21 days after implantation, 20% of original tensile strength 28 days after implantation). ¦ Suitable for soft tissue surgery e.g. GI, urologic surgery, gynaecological and orthopedic surgery where a midterm absorption profile is needed.
